It has been a really exciting start to 2015 with a number of new systems being ordered, and some first time installations happening.

-	The University of Melbourne have ordered an InSight and Mai Tai eHP DeepSee for their new Olympus FVMPE-RS Multi-photon system
-	We have installed our first SU1510 SEM at The University of Adelaide
-	QIMR have ordered an InSight and Mai Tai eHP DeepSee for their new FVMPE-RS Olympus multi-photon system
-	At Monash Micro Imaging (Monash University) we have installed a new Mai Tai eHP DeepSee as part of their upgraded Leica system

Our most exciting news is the ordering of our first HT7700 TEM by the University of Tasmania. This will be the first HT7700 installed in Australia and shows we are making progress in re-establishing Hitachi as a force in Australasia.

Tunable UV output for fluorescence lifetime studies

NKT have released UV and DUV supercontinuum extension units which provide tunable output from 265-345 nm (DUV version) or 350-480 nm (UV version) with short pulses down to 20 ps. These modules provide a very affordable alternative to purchasing multiple ps LEDs and drivers while also providing you with full tunability over a broad range rather than only having discreet wavelengths.
